INNOVIA ART 200 – Yongin, South Korea

In July 2004, Bombardier Transportation, as a member of the Yongin Rapid Transit Co. Ltd., won the concession contract to design, build, operate and maintain the 18.2 km driverless INNOVIA ART 200 advanced rapid transit system for the City of Yongin.

Bombardier supplied the electrical and mechanical (E&M) systems for the fully automated system including the fleet of 30 INNOVIA ART 200 vehicles. The system features Bombardier’s linear induction motor (LIM) propulsion technology and CITYFLO automatic train control (ATC) solution, both well proven on transit systems around the world.

The YongIn EverLine LRT System opened for revenue service in April 2013. The line serves 15 stations on mostly elevated doubletrack guideway, connecting the Seoul Metropolitan subway, via YongIn City, with Everland, one of the world’s largest amusement parks.
