In 2000, Bombardier Transportation supplied a total of 25 passenger coaches for Usbekistan Railways. Depending on the car type, the passenger compartments are designed as 4- or 2-seat compartment units. The coaches have been modified to meet the extreme weather conditions of the area of operation (-50°C to +45°C). The compact, roof-mounted air-conditioning unit is used for the heating, ventilation and cooling of the coach. The folding and fixed windows are thermo-windows. Heating and hot water provision for the car can be provided both by electrical energy and solid fuel. The cars are fitted with self-contained energy supply systems.
