Diane Giard was, between March 2017 until her retirement in June 2018, the Executive Vice President – Personal – Commercial Banking and Marketing of National Bank of Canada. She joined National Bank of Canada in 2011 as Executive Vice President – Marketing and less than a year later became responsible for Personal & Commercial Banking. Ms. Giard has more than 30 years’ experience in the banking industry, including several years at the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank), which she joined in 1982 and where she held various executive positions of increasing responsibility including Senior Vice President of Québec & Eastern Ontario Region. Ms. Giard has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Université de Montréal and an MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of TFI International Inc.
