Reducing the Environment Impact of Communications

We are very conscious of the impact that our communications activities have on the environment. Our objective is to continually reduce our printed materials while at the same time increasing our digital communications.

To help lessen our environmental impact when printing, we have created Environmental Print Guidelines for publications. Objectives include:

  • Reducing printing quantities worldwide
  • Reducing our carbon footprint
  • Taking environmental considerations into account when choosing paper, ink, finishing, e-press technology and distribution
  • Using certified suppliers (printing houses, paper and ink suppliers)
  • Recycling outdated publications
  • Placing our environmental statement on the back of every publication
