Bombardier Transportation was the turnkey supplier for London Underground’s Victoria Line upgrade project. Bombardier’s scope included an entirely new signalling system overlaid on existing infrastructure, a control centre for the line and new vehicles. This powerful combination of new trains and an upgraded signalling system has significantly improved journey times and enabled London Underground to provide a more frequent, reliable and comfortable service for its customers.
