Automated People Mover Systems
In Europe, Asia and North America, our INNOVIA APM automated people movers systems have carried more than three billion passengers in comfort and safety. Since the launch of the first driverless system at Tampa International Airport in 1971, we've operated and maintained APM systems to the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction possible.
Nothing is as critical to safety, availability and on-time delivery of passengers as airport applications, which are required to operate at levels approaching 100 percent. Some of the international airports where we currently operate INNOVIA APM 100 automated people mover systems include Frankfurt, Madrid, and Rome in Europe; Atlanta, Denver, Miami and San Francisco in the USA; and Beijing Capital International Airport in China.
We apply a number of approaches and philosophies as part of our operations of businesses to assure that all facets of the organization are able to perform at the highest levels. Tools and approaches include Bombardier Transportation Integrated Processes, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 and many others.
Our rubber-tired APM's have historically demonstrated an availability of over 99 percent for 40 years and have traveled over 162,000,000 km.
