Electrical Multiple Unit TALENT for Regional Service - Austria
In spring 2001 Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) ordered 11 three-car TALENT electrical multiple units for regional traffic . Based on the innovative design, Bombardier Transportation developed in consortium with ELIN EBG Traction an EMU which will primarily be operated in the Salzburger Land. The TALENT on the regional line offers low level (550 mm) and 1300 mm wide access thus allowing a quick passenger exchange. An interior with air-conditioning, a clear view through the whole vehicle and a special rest room for disabled persons as well as comfortable seats bring regional traffic to a new dimension.
