Barcelona Metro awarded Bombardier Transportation a contract for the in-house design, installation and commissioning of a CITYFLO 350 solution for Lines 1 and 3.
The CITYFLO 350 solution supplied includes EBI Lock computer-based interlockings, EBI Cab ATC onboard equipment with jointless audio frequency coded track circuits and automatic train protection.
Together, Barcelona Metro Lines 1 and 3 are 32 km with up to 23 vehicles running on the lines between 54 stations.
