We see InnoTrans as an opportunity to engage with our customers in order to better understand their challenges. We have centered our approach around dialogue. This year, we will use a captivating virtual reality technology to showcase how our broad portfolio of solutions addresses the mobility challenges faced by cities and societies around the globe. We will feature three themes: Innovation, Partnership and Solutions. Each will illustrate how delivering customer benefits is at the heart of everything we do.
The centerpiece of our Innovation stage is our Virtual Reality Lab. This lab will use three-dimensional, interactive technology to give viewers a sneak preview of the new BOMBARDIER MOVIA C30 metro for Stockholm, months ahead of its official launch.
Our Virtual Reality Lab will also feature some of our other recent developments such as the Hamburg S-Bahn, the BOMBARDIER OMNEO double-deck product platform, the new BOMBADIER TRAXX AC3 locomotive, as well as our FLEXX and MITRAC solutions.
In addition, Bombardier will premiere a new cyber security solution, as well as a broken balise cable detector.
Our partnership exhibits will highlight the successes of Bombardier’s long-standing customer relationships and how they added value to operators. Visitors can explore Bombardier’s range of services solutions through business cases from across the globe. From overhaul and modernization, to operations and maintenance, and long-term supply agreements, Bombardier’s services solutions improve a fleet’s reliability and optimize its life-cycle costs. A key highlight is FlexCare, Bombardier’s innovative maintenance management system. Easily integrated into existing maintenance processes, FlexCare enables customers to perform maintenance at their own depots under the overall maintenance management responsibility of Bombardier. This system not only guarantees high availability and vehicles reliability, offers customers planning, reliability and cost certainty over the full contract period.
Our Solutions exhibits will show Bombardier’s expertise in systems integration and connectivity. A Virtual Reality Integration Station will take visitors on an immersive journey into a city, enabling them to experience the full possibilities of system integration and see a sustainable city metro system come to life in the virtual world. They can discover various system elements, such as control room, energy management, signaling control equipment, passenger information equipment and security equipment and how these are integrated into the system.

Designed for rapidly growing cities around the world, the high capacity MOVIA Maxx metro offers maximum value based on a modular and flexible single solution that can be easily adapted to the specific requirements of operators. Now more than ever, a metro project’s affordability is a vital precondition to its success. That’s why the MOVIA Maxx metro platform has been designed to deliver best value for money in terms of passenger capacity, energy consumption, reliability and availability.
At InnoTrans, Bombardier will present the TALENT3, the next generation of its successful TALENT regional train family. Building upon the successes of its predecessors, the TALENT 3 platform addresses the challenges of operational flexibility, improved energy efficiency and maintainability. The TALENT 3 is also a truly European-wide train. It is equipped with ETCS and able to operate across borders on the various European rail power systems. Its compliance with TSI and EN standardization has enabled it to be approved for operation throughout Europe.
Bombardier will be launching its OPTIFLO solution that covers a full range of after market services including help desk, technical support, obsolescence management and asset & configuration management. The OPTIFLOsolution will premier Bombardier’s Infrastructure Managementservice, which provides hardware and software to capture and analyse diagnostic and performance data from signalling systems and products.
