Bombardier Highlights Efficiency of its Business Aircraft at Jet Expo 2013

September 12, 2013 Montréal Aerospace,  Press Release

Bombardier, the world’s leading business aircraft manufacturer, will present three business jets at this year’s Jet Expo in Moscow, Russia from September 12-14, 2013.

Highlighting the efficiency gains of business aviation, the company will showcase the segment-defining Challenger 300 jet, the spacious Challenger 605 jet and the globe-trotting Global 6000 aircraft.

“Russia is an important market where we are seeing a growing interest in the business jet as a business tool,” said Christophe Degoumois, Vice President, Sales, Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS, China, Asia Pacific and Australia, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “To further build on our position in the region, we’re pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate just why our aircraft are so well received here. We believe we have the right mix of jets to accommodate the Russian business community’s needs and welcome the chance to present the comfortable and spacious cabins that will help increase travel efficiency.”

Putting our customers first locally, globally
Bombardier is committed to putting its customers first by offering the highest level of support as close as possible to their operational bases. As part of this commitment to customers in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Bombardier opened a Regional Support Office (RSO), operated by its Russian subsidiary Bombardier Aerospace Services Russia LLC (BASR), in Moscow, in 2012. The RSO is complemented by two Authorized Service Facilities (ASF), as well as a team of Field Service Representatives (FSR) and Customer Support Account Managers, part of BASR’s network.

Bombardier continues to explore opportunities to expand its support network within the region for its customers located in Russia and CIS. This local presence provides customers with an additional level of support in conjunction with Bombardier’s extensive parts and maintenance networks, as well as its expert in-service engineering teams and 24/7 Customer Response Centres.

Challenger 300 aircraft: This first true super-midsize aircraft offers transcontinental range and superior long-range cruise speed, with eight to 10 passengers. It can fly Moscow-Mumbai and Moscow-Dubai non-stop with eight passengers and NBAA IFR reserves, and its superior airfield performance allows it to operate out of 5,000-foot (1,524-m) runways with ease*. The Challenger 300 jet offers the best performance and value in its class combined with a dispatch reliability consistently over 99.7 per cent – this aircraft has exceeded customer expectations since its entry-into-service in 2004.

Challenger 605 aircraft: The revered Challenger 605 jet builds upon the legacy of productivity, quality and reliability of its predecessor, the peerless Challenger 604 jet. Leading its market share segment throughout the world, the Challenger 605 aircraft features one of the widest stand-up cabins of any large category business jet available today and can soar six passengers 4,000 nm (7,408 km) from Moscow to Seoul*.

Global 6000 aircraft: The Global 6000 jet’s large cabin size and levels of comfort combined with an optional stand-up shower and the Bombardier Vision Flight Deck means it offers a perfect blend of high-speed range capability and traveler comfort. Offering the latest in technology, this intrepid jet can link Moscow-San Francisco, Moscow-Cape Town and fly 6,000 nm (11,112 km) non-stop with eight passengers and three-to-four crew*.
