How can I apply for a production or hourly position?: The process is exactly the same for all positions: you can explore current career opportunities at Bombardier Aerospace and apply for a specific position that interests you, or you can submit your resume in our system and be kept informed of new job openings.

What if there are no openings at the sites that interest me?: You can submit your resume to be registered in our Careers database and receive automatic email notices of job openings that match your skills.

Will I receive notification of where my application is in the selection process?: An acknowledgment letter is sent when you apply. Generally, you will be contacted by phone if your candidacy for a position has been retained. You will receive an email if your candidacy has not been retained. See Our Hiring Process for more information.

Where can I find the coordinates of the site that interests me?: Check our list of sites.

I saved the wrong version of my resume in your system. Can I delete it?: Yes, simply follow the instructions when accessing your profile.

Will Bombardier take care of work visas if this is required for me to work in a specific country?: Usually not, except for positions that are very difficult to fill or are very specialized.

How many direct positions are expected to be created?: The recent launch of Bombardier’s CSeries aircraft has generated a great deal of interest from job seekers. Indeed, the CSeries aircraft program is expected to create approximately 3,500 new direct positions at peak production in 2017.

Have you already begun the recruiting process?: We have already begun the recruiting process for some of these positions and expect many more job opportunities will become available as the CSeries program unfolds.

Where are these career opportunities posted?: As with all Bombardier positions, these exciting career opportunities are posted on our website.

How can I apply?: We invite you to apply online for any positions that match your interests and qualifications. We encourage you to visit the career opportunities page often, or better yet, set up a profile in our online tool to be automatically notified when a position that meets your search criteria opens up.

Who can I contact for information about training/certification?: You are encouraged to contact CAMAQ (Centre d’adaptation de la main-d'œuvre aérospatiale au Québec), who provide training and certification courses for the aerospace industry.

What about programs where I will be paid during my training? Where can I get free training?: You are encouraged to contact CAMAQ (Centre d’adaptation de la main-d'œuvre aérospatiale au Québec).

When will you start hiring for the CSeries program?: Bombardier has already begun hiring for positions related to the CSeries aircraft, and we anticipate having many more positions to fill as the program progresses. Please check our online career opportunities listing for more information.

I would like to speak to someone to get more information or apply for a position; who can I call?: We invite you to browse the CSeries section of the Bombardier website for more information on this exciting new aircraft program.

Given the high volume of applicants for positions in the CSeries aircraft program, we are accepting online applications only. Once you have completed the online application process, you will receive an acknowledgment by email. If your candidacy has been retained for an opening, you will be contacted by phone and asked questions about your profile, interests and motivation. This is the first step of our selection process. Only retained candidates will receive such phone calls. Other applicants will be informed via email about the status of their candidacy.
