President
Bombardier Business Aircraft
Steve Ridolfi was appointed President, Bombardier Business Aircraft on April 18, 2008. Mr. Ridolfi’s expertise and knowledge of program development and management comes at the right time as Bombardier Aerospace embarks on the development of its first all-composite structure business jet while increasing capacity on existing business aircraft products and evaluating new potential aircraft.
Steve Ridolfi has had a distinguished career with Bombardier, dating from 1982, when he joined de Havilland Inc. as a structural dynamics engineer. He progressed through Regional Aircraft’s airline analysis, marketing, product planning and customer support departments to become, consecutively Vice-President, Marketing and Product Planning and Vice-President and General Manager, Marketing and Operations.
Mr. Ridolfi was then appointed President, Bombardier Regional Aircraft in September 1999, having full responsibility for profit, cost, quality and customer management in that unit. In November 2001 he was appointed Executive Vice-President, Programs and Strategic Planning, Bombardier Aerospace – holding these additional responsibilities for over two years.
