Bombardier Transportation also offers vehicles designed for existing routes with elevated platforms. They allow, for instance, stepless boarding at platform heights of 900 mm. These products are based on the technology used in the low-floor FLEXITY Swift family. Therefore, standard elements that have been successfully integrated in the past can be used instead of tailor-made solutions. The proven modular vehicle concept used in producing the FLEXITY Swift vehicles is also reflected in significantly reduced investment and maintenance costs.
