Bombardier FLEXITY Outlook - Eskisehir, Turkey

The Bombardier Transportation-Yapi Merkezi Consortium, under contract to the Eskisehir Greater City Municipality, is responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of a 13.5-kilometre light rail transit system.

As the lead member of the Consortium, Bombardier is providing 18 Bombardier FLEXITY Outlook trams based on proven technology already in operation in Linz, Austria, and Lodz, Poland. Each tram is capable of carrying 159 passengers, with 58 seated, and the complete network is designed to carry approximately 170,000 passengers per day. The vehicles will operate in a mixed traffic system at a top speed of 50 km/h, although they are capable of reaching speeds up to 70 km/h.
