Bombardier's FLEXITY Outlook tram for Milan was designed for safe and economic public transport in Europe's fashion capital as well as to further improve the daily traffic flow. Additionally, this unidirectional vehicle reduces energy consumption due to a significant weight reduction and the use of regenerative brakes. A curve radius of 18 metres eases manoeuvring through the streets of Milan. With 350 mm entrance height smooth passenger transfer is guaranteed even for people with prams or heavy luggage. The extraordinary design as well as the travelling comfort make the FLEXITY Outlook trams an attractive means of transport. A total of 26 street-trams were already delivered and have been in service since 2000.
